This pretty racoon baby blanket is my daughter’s favorite!
Actually this was my first c2c-project and I totally fell in love with this technique. Only I could not find a pattern that suited me, so I decided to make my own. You can find the link to the chart in my ravelry store. It’s free!
What do I need?
For this blanket I used a no-name-brand yarn from my stash. I did not want to spend too much money on my first try. Who would have thought that it would turn out so beautifuly! So for the next c2c-afghan I decided to use a nicer yarn and chose Drops Lima. It is a mix of wool and alpaca. I have to admit, the yarn is not as cuddly as I would usually like for a baby blanket. But as this blanket is used mostly as some kind of carpet for the baby to lie around on I think the robust mixture is a really good choice.
Plus: The colours are soooo nice!
